Home
. . . and their going to disneyworld
Sunday, February 06, 2005 | 11:01 PM | Allegri
The XXIX Superbowl game has ended, the Jacksonville stadium is closed, the fans have all gone home and tucked themselves into bed. And the nuisance of a team, New England Patriots are on a plane with their families to Disneyworld. Once again the New England has brought one more deserving team to shame, first the Pittsburgh Steelers, and now the Philadelphia Eagles. The game ended with:
Patriots 24
Eagles 21
Apparently, the Eagles team leaders; Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, Terrell Owens, were not quite tough enough to take on the Patriots leaders; Tom Brady, Corey Dillon, Deion Branch. The Eagles fought it out from their tie that began in the beginning of the second quarter with seven, then in the third it hit at fourteen, and lasted until about halfway through the fourth when the Patriots charged in and took up ten points whereas the Eagles were only able to pull off seven more points still leaving them three points in below the tie. Now as long as next year, any one of the following makes it into the next "bowl" I will be very happy: Green Bay Packers (Go Cheeseheads!!!), Minnesota Vikings, or the Denver Boncos.
